Hotel Management Graduate, aged 21 opted in June 2002 to serve uncared for roadside destitute in Madurai, instead of a lucrative job overseas.

With world wide support, substantial progress is made, in construction of Akshaya Home -shelter to roadside destitute in Madurai.

After CNN TOP 10 Heroes Award - 2010, Akshaya is well recognized in U.S.A, Canada, Europe, Middle East, Australia, Malaysia, as well as India.

Fund raising events reinforced support from a large section of the society across the Globe.
