Welcome to Akshaya Trust. We are a charitable organization with the sole purpose of helping the helpless and destitute people suffering on the streets of Madurai, India.
Akshaya Trust is committed to bringing peace, joy and security to so many helpless people. When a person is rescued from the streets of Madurai, India by the team from Akshaya Trust, they hear ``வெள்கம்`` as they enter the Akshaya Home. It is a life changing word they will always remember. Being welcomed to the Akshaya Home means a helpless and forgotten person now has a safe and secure home, physical and emotional nourishment, professional care, and many loving friends.
Akshaya's Helping in H.E.L.P. Trust was established as a charitable organization supporting the needy in Madurai, India in 2002.

The road to rehabilitation for the residents can be very difficult as well as emotionally and physically painful. A foundation for their recovery is good nutrition, which is well provided at the Akhsaya Home.

The ``Akshaya Home`` opened its doors to the helpless and destitute people suffering on May 9th, 2013. We are currently housing over 400 well deserving human beings that range in age from 20 to 87 years of age.

Akshaya also provides limited meals on the streets of Madurai. We can provide only one meal twice a week due to limited funds.
